Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism, Advertising, & Media Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a minor in Music and a certificate in Digital Arts and Culture. In her third and fourth years, Julia served as Vice President and Treasurer for the UW-Milwaukee Advertising Club, which allowed her to build leadership, management, and event planning skills. With her background in music, she became interested in non-profit arts organizations, which led to internships with Milwaukee Children’s Choir and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. Originally pursuing a career in arts administration, Julia worked full-

time as an Advertising Associate for The American Theatre Guild, the largest not-for-profit touring Broadway Presenter in the nation for one year before returning to school. While working full-time, she also started instructing beginning guitar, songwriting, and saxophone at Guitar Center, where she found inspiration to go back to school for music, hoping to build a sustainable career as a musician.

Julia is now pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree in Jazz Studies at UW - Parkside, studying with trumpet player Russ Johnson and saxophone player Jon Irabagon. She also works at Brass Bell Music in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, teaching saxophone, flute, clarinet, music theory, and songwriting alongside working in school services. She also continues to perform onstage with Wonderful Bluffer and in pit orchestras in Southeastern Wisconsin. If you wish to contact Julia, please visit her "contact" page to send a message.
